Teacloths

HERE ARE 30 BEAUTIFUL TEACLOTH PATTERNS for either 36” square or 45” square made from gingham material. The patterns are put on the gingham with a cross stitch. The cross stitch is made by making a stitch from corner to corner of the square in a cross. To make the double cross stitch you first make a single cross stitch then make the second cross stitch over the top going from the centre of the side of the square to the centre of the side of the square. You use the double cross stitch if you want a fuller looking pattern.

Put a small hem around the teacloth or if you want, crochet an edging around the teacloth. Use colored thread on white squares. Use white thread on dark squares. Double cross stitches are best done with two strands of embroidery cotton.

Aprons
HERE WE HAVE 14 BEAUTIFUL APRON PATTERNS

MATERIAL NEEDED
1 piece 20” X 30” for apron front.
3 pieces 5” X 30” for waistband and tie straps.
1 piece 6” C 7” for the pocket.

Most of these patterns can he either put us 1/4 inch or 1/8 inch checked material.

When using 1/4 inch checked material start the pattern 12 rows from the bottom of the apron.
When using 1/6 inch checked material start the patters 22 rows from the bottom of the apron.

Use the same type of stitching on the aprons as is as is used for the table cloths (ie, single or double cross stitch depending on the fullness required for your liking.)
• Use three strands of embroidery cotton.
• These patterns can be put on either the while or the dark colored squares. If it is done on the white squares use embroidery cotton that is a shade or two darker than the color of the dark colored squares. If it is done on the dark colored squares use white embroidery cotton.
Also black or a dark colored embroidery cotton may be used on the white squares instead of the embroidery cotton that is the color of the dark squares.

This soft covered book has 48 pages (not including the covers). It measures approximately 8½” X 5-3/8” X 1/8” (21.4 X13.7 X 0.3 cm) and weighs 2.3 ounces (67 gr.).

This will be mailed in a 24.3 X 14.8 X 0.5 cm envelope. Shipping weight will be 100 gr.
