Ghosthunting paranormal equipment Sizmo II Vibration alarm and knock counter

The SCIRE Sizmo II vibration monitoring device provides visual and auditory alarms when it detects a vibration and has a function where it can interpret either one or two knocks as seperate alerts. During a paranormal investigation, people often report taps, bangs and footsteps. 

This device is designed to alert the investigator if any of these sounds actually caused physical vibrations in whatever it is placed on or near. It uses a revolutionary vibration focusing chamber within the device to capture even the smallest of vibrations, the Sizmo II improves on the original with a heavier counterweight which improves the sensitivity of the device. 

Automatic calibration When the SIZMO II is switched on, it will flash yellow. This is your time to put the device down before calibration begins. The SIZMO II will then stop flashing and turn solid yellow. Whilst solid yellow, it is calibrating to any ambient vibrations. Any taps or vibrations will be measured and the sensitivity decreased accordingly, moving the device during the calibration or any major vibrations will prevent more subtle vibration detection. 

This allows you to tap near the device during the solid yellow phase to initially reduce sensitivity if that is what suits your investigation.

Calibration has been completed when it turns green. After which it will be monitoring with no visible light. 

Knock counting mode 

When the Knock-O-Dial is turned to the left, the Sizmo II will act as a vibration alarm, lighting purple and providing an audible tone.   

When not all the way to the left, the Knock-O-Dial puts the Sizmo II into knock counting mode. It will provide a Green Alert if it detects one knock and a Red Alert if it detects 2 knocks.
The knock-o-dial controls the period the Sizmo II will wait for that second knock. If one 
knock is recorded during the time period set, it will only light up green at the end of that time period, as it was waiting for a second knock. The Knock-O-Dial can be set be set between 100 milliseconds and 4 seconds.
