Gertrude Elliott Edwardian Actress 1902 Hand Signed Photo Postcard

PFAS179 This is a rare opportunity to secure this antique 5.5" x 3.5" hand signed postcard for Gertrude Elliott who has personally autographed the souvenir where her signature rests perfectly accompanying her portrait  with some age fading but overall for its age this is great condition and undedicated autograph too. The postmark is dated 1902 so this is surely one of the earliest signings of the actress of its kind.

Gertrude Elliott (December 14, 1874 December 24, 1950), later Lady Forbes-Robertson, was an American stage actress, part of an extended family of theatre professionals including her husband, Sir Johnston Forbes-Robertson, and her elder sister, Maxine Elliott. She was President of the Actresses' Franchise League in the UK.
