Seller's Description
bg881 Antique vintage German painting postcard of this wartime view I believe which is 1916 origin showing a German soldier courteously holding out his umbrella for the young lady to shelter under and they are both laughing - perhaps he took her umbrella and now is letting her use it as they are both surrounded by water splashing everywhere - this is unused and mint.
Please see all my other postcards from this collection as whilst this one unused, many were sent by German soldiers from WW1 camps with postmarks of the camps and war messages on reverses.
