Seller's Description
bg881 Antique vintage German postcard of this 1917 view of a German soldier feeding a child from a saucepan of soup with his spoon and the mother watching with the child looking grateful - on reverse is a message from a soldier written in hand from a Berlin Camp with the military camp postmarks on reverse - see image 2 - the message is dated 15th May 1917 and needs translated as could be a frontline message - it is with a small upper corner fault - a little aged - used appearance but very good condition indeed.
Please see all my other postcards from this collection as whilst this one unused, many were sent by German soldiers from WW1 camps with postmarks of the camps and war messages on reverses.
