Seller's Description

CHAU3548 This is a superb opportunity to secure this stunning large vintage 10" x 8" hand signed photo for Gerald Harper who has personally autographed the souvenir where his signature rests perfectly accompanying his portrait in great condition and undedicated too (ex minus), Reverse has press markings so I assume this a press hand signed photo of the era from the time Hadleigh was showing.  Gerald is also remembered for the Dambusters and the Titanic 1950s film A Night To Remember.

Gerald Harper is best known for his work on television, having played the title roles in Adam Adamant Lives! (196667) and Hadleigh (196976).. His classical work includes playing on Broadway with the Old Vic company, playing Iago at the Bristol Old Vic and Benedick at the Chichester Festival Theatre. Harper's film credits include The Admirable Crichton (1957), A Night to Remember (1958), The League of Gentlemen (1960), Tunes of Glory (1960), The Young Ones (1961), The Punch and Judy Man (1963), The Shoes of the Fisherman (1968) and The Lady Vanishes (1979)
