Stunning Antique George III bright cut sugar tongs.

Fully hallmarked with George III bust head, lion passant(sterling) & date letter C for circa 1798.

Makers mark GS over TH for George Smith II & Thomas Hayter of London.

Measure approximately 14.5cm in length x 1.5cm widest width and come with a monogram of LAC and weigh 30grams.

A stunning 18th century sterling silver sugar tongs with bright cut design that look absolutely great and are in good condition. Made from sterling silver and having good clear hallmarks these lovely tongs would be great for collectors or enthusiasts alike.
