Original 9 3/8 inch x 7 inch Portrait of KENNETH MORE in the 1953 Henry Cornelius Romantic Drama GENEVIEVE, story and screenplay by William Rose.
A classic of British post-war cinema and a feel-good film that only the hardest hearted can dislike. The endearing story of 2 couples racing back from Brighton to London in their veteran cars takes off delightfully, fuelled by sparkling performances from the 4 stars and a wonderful supporting cast.
Portrait by Cornel Lucas. Born in 1923 Lucas was a world-renowned Rank Studios photographer known for his legendary black-and-white portraits of stars including Joan Collins, Brigitte Bardot, Lauren Bacall, Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn and Diana Dors, among many others.
The portrait is in very good condition with a synopsis once tacked to the reverse.
