On offer here is the 1981 First Day Cover celebrating Fishing - in excellent condition and comes complete with card insert.

The cover design features the fishing boar registration RX102 as part of the artwork. The RX102 boat was one of the Hastings fishing fleet (all have RX boat numbers) - Hastings is one of the medieval Cinque Ports and famed for having one of the largest and oldest beach launched fishing fleet in the country.
This FDC has a Hastings postmark, making it nice and uniquely linked to the theme of the FDC.
