Original Italian 39 inch x 55 inch 2 Fogli Poster for the 1968 Liliana Cavani Italian/Bulgarian Biographical Drama GALILEO starring Cyril Cusack, Georgi Kalopyanchev, Nikolay Doychev, Miroslav Mindov, Georgi Cherkelov and Mikhail Mikhajlov.
The film depicts the life of Galileo Galilei and particularly his clash with the Catholic Church regarding the interpretation of his astronomical observations with the newly invented telescope.
Poster art by Manfredo Acerbo (1913 - 1989). An Italian painter and graphic designer.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
