The JSB FXN922 / Menvier MPT922 is a 5 in 1 Multi Mode detector. It can be configured to be used as an Optical detector, an Optical / Heat multi-sensor, or as 1 of 3 Heat detector modes (A1R, BS, CS). This can be selected using a switch located on the back of the detector.
The JSB Bi-Wire multi-mode detector has 5 different modes within a single detector.
It can be used as a direct replacement for the following other JSB Bi-Wire detector:
FXN621 Ionisation Smoke detector
FXN622 Photo Thermal Detector
FXN623 Photoelectric Smoke detector
FXN626 Heat Detector - Fixed Temp
FXN625 Heat Detector - Rate of Rise
FXN624 Heat Detector - Fixed Temp
Note: When replacing an existing detector which is fitted onto a sounder base, then this sounder base must be a FXN521BWS or EF5021BWS model. If this is not the case then the sounder base must also be changed to the current EF5021BWS.
