French Shabby Chic Black Metal Trivet / Stand

Nice trivet, quite heavy so I think it is probably cast iron that is finished with black enamel paint. It was found in Brittany, France. It stands on four feet, two feet have a protective plastic covering but the other two are missing it still stands perfectly well though. There is a little paint flaking underneath and on one side which could easily be touched up if necessary. A useful and decorative item.
