Vertigo's short-lived ongoing Horror anthology. Many of comics' top names contributed to this series. Each issue traditionally contained three short stories that normally seemed unrelated outside of the fact they were horror themed.

"A Gift of Friendship" (written and illustrated by Kent Williams), rival sportsmen collide in the snow-drenched mountains for a tale of betrayal, revenge, and the fine art of double-cross.

"Playing Dead" (written by Bruce Jones and illustrated by Paul Gulacy), an AWOL soldier assumes a dead man's identity, only to learn that his lovely new wife has secrets that he can't begin to comprehend.

"Fair Trade" (written and illustrated by Ty Templeton), a regular guy tries to barter his soul for love, only to get hit up by a host of demonic pitchmen​
