The Five Volumes measure approx, 10.3cm(4.1") by 17cm(6.7") and contain approximately 2318 pages in total.

There are a few small notable faults;
There are no title pages to volumes one and three and the frontis is absent from volume one. 

Internally the publications are fully bound with no loss. There is some age tanning, and scattered foxing. The pages are a little dusty in places.
There are some pencil notes on some margins (easily erased if one wishes), else good.

The half Leather bindings are slightly edge worn with some surface rubbing and bumping.
The leather is not flaking, and leaves no marks when placed on cloth.
