Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1975 Ray Connolly Documentary JAMES DEAN: THE FIRST AMERICAN TEENAGER starring James Dean, Stacy Keach, Carroll Baker, Vampira, Leslie Caron, Natalie Wood, Corey Allen, , Dennis Hopper and Sal Mineo.
Poster art by Jean Mascii. Mascii was one of the most prolific French film poster artists of the second half of the 20th century creating over 2,000. He was born in Italy in 1926 his family then settled in France in 1932. He began work designing cinema facades and designed his first film poster for La Dame D'Onze Heures starring Paul Meurisse in 1947. He died in Paris in 2003.
The poster is in fine folded condition.
