Seller's Description

Original 1893 6 1/4 inch x 10 1/4 inch Etching titled THE EVENING HOUR.

Etched by James Dobie (1849 - 1947). A Scottish etcher who went on to exhibit 41 prints at the Royal Academy between 1885 and 1923.

Painted by Ernest Albert Waterlow (1850 - 1919). An English painter who studied at the Royal Academy schools and became a R.A. member. He painted both in oil and watercolour, capturing the changing moods of weather and the appeal of the old-fashioned life in the countryside.
