CAPTIONED/DEPICTING

A. LARKING & SONS
Corn & Seed & Flour Merchants
27 Hallsville Road,
Canning Town, Essex
"& at 90 Manchester Road, Cubitt Town" according to the signage

My research suggests that this image depicts the shop front of Alfred Larking, 27 Hallsville Road, Canning Town.

The Kelly's directory for Essex of 1914 lists the owner as Henry Larking, who was probably one of Alfred's sons.

The signage in the photograph shows "& at 90 Manchester Road, Cubitt Town" which is verified
by the entry in Kelly's 1910 directory for London - Alfred Larking at this address, Poplar.

This image probably dates from around 1905-10
