A brand new set of six printed monochrome postcards showing 19th century engravings of some of the prehistoric monuments of Britain, including four from Cornwall. The six postcards show: 1) an engraving from 1804 of Dance-Main, a Druidical Circle, or more commonly called The Merry Maidens Stone Circle at Boleigh in St Buryan, West Penwith, Cornwall; 2) an engraving from 1808 of Pendarvis Quoit or Carwynnen Quoit near Camborne in Cornwall; 3) an engraving from 1848 of Trethevey Stone or Trethevy Quoit, a dolmen or chambered tomb near Liskeard in Cornwall; 4) an engraving from c.1845 of Kitt's Cotty House or Kit's Coty House, a dolmen or chambered tomb near Aylesford in Kent; 5) an engraving from 1813 of the cromlech at Lanyon, or Lanyon Quoit, a dolmen or portal tomb near Madron in West Penwith, Cornwall; 6) an engraving from 1831 of Arthur's Stone or Maen Ceti, a dolmen or chambered tomb on the Gower Peninsula near Swansea.
