Original 9 7/8 inch x 7 3/4 inch Silver Gelatin Print of EMLYN WILLIAMS in the 1955 play THE WILD DUCK by Henrik Ibsen at the Saville Theatre, London.
Portrait by Angus McBean (1904 - 1990). Angus McBean was born in 1904 in Newbridge, Monmouthshire. He studied at Newport, and started as a full-time theatrical photographer in 1934, becoming noted for his individual approach to portraiture.
The portrait, on heavyweight paper, is in fine condition with the photographer’s stamp on the reverse.
