Elspet Gray Tenko Fawlty Towers Vintage Hand Signed Photo

PFAS154   A superb opportunity to secure this original 5.5" x 3.5" early hand signed photo for cult Scottish actress Elspet Gray who has personally autographed the souvenir where her signature rests perfectly accompanying her portrait - has light but evident thumb impression to upper border - slight places otherwise great - vg grading and undedicated - A very scarce signing and her official hand autographed photo she sent fans too.

Gray appeared in many films and television programmes, her earliest being The Blind Goddess (1948).  She had several roles in the 1970s including parts in Fawlty Towers, as the paediatrician wife of a psychiatrist baffled by Basil Fawltys behaviour, The Crezz, Catweazle, and in the 1980s with Doctor Who story Arc of Infinity and the World War Two drama Tenko.  She appeared as the Queen in the BBC sitcom The Black Adder (1983), with Rowan Atkinson as her son in the title role, and as Mrs. Palmer in Solo (198182), another comedy, this time with Felicity Kendal in the lead as her daughter.
