Elisabeth Hongen Ludwig Hoffmann German Opera Hand Signed Autograph

PFAS24  Antique 5" x 2" autograph from the 1950s and from a former collectors autograph book containing a stunning character hand signed page for German opera singer Elisabeth Hongen (1906-1997) where her signature rests perfectly to accompany her photo undedicated and bar lightly aged this is mint condition. On reverse has an personal autograph of famous German pianist Ludwig Hoffman (1925 - 1999) again undedicated and his signature resting perfectly also accompanying his portrait (see image 2). Both signatures are dated from 1953 so surely the earliest autograph opportunities of their kind.

Elisabeth Höngen was a German operatic mezzo-soprano and singing-actress. She was particularly associated with Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss roles, and with Verdi's Lady Macbeth. From 1947 onward she was one of the Vienna State Opera's most prominent artists for nearly 30 years.
