Seller's Description
This is a lot of two items relating to the Ras-El-Tin barracks, used by the British Army in Alexandria, Egypt. They are :

a postcard showing the barracks, posted in 1924, but missing the stamp. The card is in fair condition, with minor wear to the corners and edges, and some marks on the back.

a black & white photo (145mm x 85mm) showing a unit of British soldiers on parade, with a caption on the back saying “the general taking the salute” - the unit and date is unknown, but it may be c. 1930s. There is a stamp on the back from S. Sarkis, Garrison Photographer.
