Selling Easy Adjust String Clips for use with 0.5mm 0.8mm or 1.0mm Nylon String/Cord (aka Macrame Cord). These clips can be used to hang various things that need to have the hanging height adjusted frequently, quickly, and easily. To adjust the string height, just squeeze the release clamp to release the string, see demonstration video.
Good for hanging decorations, shooting targets, plumb bobs, lights, arts & crafts, fishing, camping, hunting, and any other light duty hanging or stringing need that requires quick and easy adjustment.
Features
- Holds up to a 2.25 pound load*
- with 1.0mm nylon string: Typical max load is 2.25lbs, absolute max is 2.75lbs
- with 0.8mm nylon string: Typical max load is 1.50lbs, absolute max is 1.90lbs
- with 0.5mm nylon string: Typical max load is 1.20lbs, absolute max is 1.70lbs
- If purchased with string, it will come with 1.0mm diameter nylon string.
- If purchased with string, it will come with 1 threading needle for every 2 clips.
- Clip is self-centering when hung from a single point (i.e. a nail or screw). Clip is also weight balanced (the Center of Mass (CM) is on the Center-Line (CL) of the clip).
- Center marks at top of clip to easily verify clip is hanging at center (important when using clip to hang a plumb bob)
- Has string wrap feature to keep extra string neatly wrapped around the clip, or to neatly store the string & clip when not in use.
- Lightweight, each clip weighs only 6.8g or 0.24oz.
- Available in white, black, or gray. Other colors available upon request for a nominal fee.
- For best function and longest life it is recommended to always squeeze the release clamp before adjusting the string up or down. When adjusting down, it is best to not let the object free-fall, but to hold the object, squeeze the clamp, then lower object, then release the clamp; this prevents undue wear on the clip teeth. NOTE: Minor adjustments (no more than 0.5") can be made by just pulling down slowly on the string without squeezing the release clamp, but this can reduce the life of the clip by prematurely wearing down the clamp teeth.
- * actual max load ability depends on exact string used (brand, braid, finish, material, etc.). Max load ability will decrease with elevated temperatures.
