Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1947 Alexander Hall Musical Comedy DOWN TO EARTH, based on the play play "Heaven Can Wait" by Harry Segall and starring Rita Hayworth, Larry Parks, Roland Culver, James Gleason, Edward Everett Horton, George Macready and Adele Jergens.
Upset about a new Broadway musical's mockery of Greek mythology, the goddess Terpsichore comes down to earth and lands a part in the show. She works her charms on the show's producer and he incorporates her changes into the show. Unfortunately, her changes also produce a major flop.
The Advertisement is in fine condition.
