This CD is a combined volume of both disks 7 and 8 from my collection together on a single CD.  It is a review of the year 2007 from Crewe northwards featuring mainline action, preservation sites and railtours.  Locomotives and multiple units are both included.  This combined volume is offered at a reduced price of 33% OFF against buying both disks separately.

200 high resolution colour photos of locomotives during 2007 (disk 7 the “yellow” one):

• Classes include:  02, 03, 04, 08, 11, 14, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, 33, 35, 37, 40, 42, 43, 47, 50, 55, 56, 57, 58, 60, 66, 67, 82, 84, 86, 87, 89, 90, 91, plus some unclassified locos.  Preserved diesels 40145, 50049 and 55022 are also featured on mainline railtours.

• Locations include:  Carlisle, Crewe, Doncaster, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Kingussie, Leeds, Lockerbie, Newcastle, Perth, Preston, Sheffield and Thurso, plus lineside shots around the North on both the ECML and WCML.

• Diesel gala events include:  Barrow Hill Roundhouse, Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway, Caledonian Railway, East Lancashire Railway and North Yorkshire Moors Railway.  Static exhibits at Crewe Heritage Centre (The Railway Age) are also included.

200 high resolution colour photos of multiple units during 2007 (disk 8 the “purple” one):

• 130 photos of DMUs, 30 of EMUs and 40 of Voyagers/Pendolinos all in mainline service.

• Classes include:  142, 144, 150, 153, 155, 156, 158, 170, 175, 185, 220, 221, 222, 314, 318, 321, 322, 323, 325, 333, 334, 350, 390 – all in a range of different liveries.

• Locations include:  Carlisle, Crewe, Doncaster, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gretna, Inverness, Kingussie, Lancaster, Leeds, Lockerbie, Manchester, Newcastle, Perth, Preston, Sheffield and Stirling, plus lineside shots around the North on both the ECML and WCML.

• All photos are my own work using an Olympus E-500 digital SLR camera giving a much sharper and clearer original image than the old method of scanning from negatives.

• All photos are 8 Megapixels in standard JPEG format.  This might not seem high resolution by today’s standards, but that’s the technology we had back in 2007.

• Every photo comes with a caption stored in the “file properties” detailing the locomotive, location and exact date, the captions do not appear on the photos themselves as this would spoil them.  All captions are also stored in a single file of .DOCX, .RTF and .PDF formats so you can view/print them out for the whole disk.

• I use quality Memorex brand disks, NOT cheap “shop’s-own” disks.

• This CD comes with a colour sleeve, colour artwork label and a slim-line plastic case.

• I have been selling these disks since 2007 with hundreds of happy customers!

• I have been an amateur photographer using SLR cameras for over 30 years, I do not take pictures with mobile phones, tablets, instamatic or point-and-shoot etc.

• I retain copyright over all images.  These photos are NOT for resale or distribution in any format, but you may print them out for yourself if you wish.
