Disk six – Assorted railway photos,

diesels and electrics 1987-2007.

This CD is a random collage for the general enthusiast featuring 150 full colour railway photographs from America, Canada, Britain and France.  There is just one steam locomotive photo (in the American section), all the rest are diesel and electric both in mainline service and in preservation.

• 53 photos from over 20 mainline locations around the UK between 1987-2007, featuring locomotives, multiple units, railtours, stations scenes and BR depot open days.

• 60 photos from 13 different UK preservation sites between 1987-2007, featuring classes 08 – 89 both static and in action, plus some unclassified locos too.

• 17 photos of American/Canadian locos from Southern Michigan, Northern Ohio and Toronto during 1987-1989, plus Southern California in 2005.

• 20 photos of French locomotives including Eurostars and TGVs in Paris, Amiens and Le Mans during 1999.

• All photos are my own work using a Nikon N2000 35mm SLR camera.

• All photos have been scanned directly from 35mm negatives at a super-high resolution of 2400dpi to give apx. 8.5 Megapixels in standard JPEG format.

• Every photo comes with a caption stored in the “file properties” detailing the locomotive, location and exact date, the captions do not appear on the photos themselves as this would spoil them.  All captions are also stored in a single file of .DOCX, .RTF and .PDF formats so you can view/print them out for the whole disk.

• I use quality Memorex brand disks, NOT cheap “shop’s-own” disks.

• This CD comes with a colour sleeve, colour artwork label and a slim-line plastic case.

• I have been selling these disks since 2007 with hundreds of happy customers!

• I have been an amateur photographer using SLR cameras for over 30 years, I do not take pictures with mobile phones, tablets, instamatic or point-and-shoot etc.

• I retain copyright over all images.  These photos are NOT for resale or distribution in any format, but you may print them out for yourself if you wish.
