Original Argentine 29 inch x 43 inch Poster for the 1971 Guy Hamilton James Bond Adventure DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, based on the novel by Ian Fleming and starring Sean Connery, Jill St. John, Charles Gray, Bernard Lee, Desmond Llewelyn, Lois Maxwell, Laurence Naismith, Lana Wood, Jimmy Dean, Bruce Cabot, Putter Smith, Bruce Glover, Lola Larson, Trina Parks and Denise Perrier.
A diamond smuggling investigation leads James Bond to Las Vegas, where he uncovers an evil plot involving a rich business tycoon.
Poster art by Robert Edward McGinnis. McGinnis is an American artist and illustrator born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1926. McGinnis is known for his illustrations of more than 1,200 paperback book covers, and over 40 movie posters, including Breakfast at Tiffany's (his first film poster assignment), Barbarella, and several James Bond and Matt Helm films.
The poster is in very good folded condition. There are small holes at the cross folds. There is slight wear along the top fold.
