3 Original 1961 11 inch x 14 inch U.S. Lobby Cards for the 1959 Tulio Demicheli Crime Drama THE DEVIL MADE A WOMAN (CARMEN LA DE RONDA), based on the novel by Prosper Mérimée and starring Sara Montiel, Jorge Mistral, Maurice Ronet, Germán Cobos, José Marco Davó, Félix Fernández, María de los Ángeles Hortelano, Santiago Rivero, Alfonso Rojas, Agustín González, Antonio Delgado, Pilar Gómez Ferrer, Manuel Guitián, Teresa Gisbert, Joaquín Bergía, Víctor Bayo, Ricardo Tundidor, Antonio Cintado, Amedeo Nazzari, Ventura Oller and Miguel de la Riva.
Antonio is the leader of an underground armed group fighting in the village of Ronda against Napoleon’s troops which have imposed French rule in 1808 Spain. Micaela is madly in love with Antonio but he is devoted to Carmen, the region’s most beautiful gypsy who lives and sings at a local inn. .
