Das Schneefernerhaus ist ein ehemaliges Hotel in den Alpen, das jetzt als Forschungsstation genutzt wird. Es liegt direkt unterhalb des Gipfels der Zugspitze in einer Höhe von 2650 m und war damit Deutschlands höchste Bahnstation. Es beherbergte bis 1992 den Bergbahnhof der Bayerischen Zugspitzbahn

Schneefernerhaus is a former hotel in the Alps, now a research station. It is situated just below the peak of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, at a height of 2.650 metres above sea-level and was Germany's highest railway station. It had been serviced by the Bavarian Zugspitze Railways (a cog railway) until 1992
