Printed monochrome postcard showing a view of the iron footbridge and the Lutheran Parish Church in Frankfurt, Germany.
Published by Römmler & Jonas, Dresden, No 511 C, 12, undivided back.
Postally used on 31 May 1906 with Frankfurt cancellation on red 10 pfennig stamp and sent to Master Colin Muspratt, Tantallon, Madeira Road, Bournemouth, England. Colin Knox Muspratt was later a Captain in the Hampshire Regiment and served in India and Mesopotamia, where he was mentioned in dispatches, and was also the Assistant Master of Sherbourne School in 1925/6.
Good condition, with slight corner bumps, but light creasing to bottom left edge.
