Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1949 Thornton Freeland Comedy DEAR MR PROHACK, based on the novel by Arnold Bennett and starring Cecil Parker, Glynis Johns, Hermione Baddeley, Dirk Bogarde, Sheila Sim, Heather Thatcher, Frances Waring, Charles Goldner, Campbell Cotts, Denholm Elliott, Russell Waters, Henry Edwards, Frederick Valk, James Hayter, Bryan Forbes and Jon Pertwee.

Arthur Prohack (Cecil Parker) is an official in the Treasury Department with a reputation for fiscal efficiency and running a tight ship. One day he finds out that a struggling businessman to whom he once loaned money used that money to amass a fortune, and after his death he left much of it to Prohack. Despite his reputation for his adept handling of money at his job, he seems to be much less adept at handling his newfound riches.

On the reverse is the 1949 Lesley Selander Charlie Chan Adventure SKY DRAGON, based on the character created by Earl Derr Biggers and starring Roland Winters, Keye Luke, Mantan Moreland, Noel Neill, Tim Ryan and Iris Adrian
