Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1952 Richard Brooks Newspaper Drama DEADLINE starring Humphrey Bogart, Ethel Barrymore, Kim Hunter, Ed Begley, Warren Stevens, Paul Stewart, Martin Gabel, Joe De Santis, Joyce Mackenzie, Audrey Christie, Fay Baker, Jim Backus, Dabbs Greer, Harry Tyler, John Doucette, Parley Baer and Willis Bouchey.

The story of a crusading newspaper editor who exposes a gangster's crimes while also trying to keep the paper from going out of business.

The advert artwork is by A. “Jock” W. Hinchliffe.
Hinchliffe was born in Perth, Scotland. In 1953 he had a studio in Chalk Farm, North London, where he produced a series of six oil paintings as publicity for 20th Century Fox’s “The Robe”. He had been engaged by Fox in 1926 and produced posters and ads continuously for them, and for Disney, well into the 1960s.

The Advertisement is in very good condition.
