Signed in English bottom right
Signed again on Verso and Dated 1961
Measures approx. 15" x 18 1/8" or 38 cm x 46 cm
Not Framed - sitting on its stretcher
He was born in Poland in 1912 and at the age of 12 he left his family and immigrated to Palestine.
In 1940 he joined the British Army. His family, left in Poland, were all murdered in the Holocaust.
In 1955 he left for Paris, studied Art, and dedicated his next 40 years to Art.
In his Paris studio, he hosted many famous Israeli artists.
His works have been sold all over the world, including Paris.
