Monochrome real photographic postcard showing a view of the crew of the early Royal Navy submarine HMS Holland 4 standing on deck. The vessel was commissioned in 1903, with the conning tower being fitted in 1905, and foundered in 1912.

Postally unused.

Good condition, with very slight corner bumps and light album marks, but two light bends to centre of top edge.
