CRESTED VASE - PAIGNTON - GRAFTON CHINA.
This auction is for a crested vase displaying the coat of arms of Paignton. There are no chips, cracks or crazing, there is some wear to the gilt on the lip. It is approximately 1" across the base, 2.375" tall and on the base marked 'Made in England for W.J. Varwell Torbay Stores Paignton' above a shield enclosing the words 'Grafton China BAJ & Sons England' and a sun emblem poking over the top of the shield. There is also a black capital R and the number 23 in black.
