Our Created Padparadscha Sapphire looks exactly the same as the stuff that comes from the ground, but tons cleaner and with a lot better color. Oh, and it's affordable. I can't even guess what a real one this size one run, but it'd be in the 4 digits for sure. Oh, you ask, just what IS Padparadscha Sapphire? Well, it's basically a bright Orange Sapphire from the mining district of Padparadscha, India. It's essentially played out now, but 20 years ago, it was producing Sapphire with the most amazing play of red and yellow fire. Alas, no more. We do have a source, though, for a created sapphire with the same awesome color attributes, and for a ton less money. This ring is a nice design; Filigree flowing down the sides. A really pretty Sterling SIlver ring -- very solid construction. This is one of those rings you'll pass down to your daughter.. It is simple enough for everyday wear, yet pretty enough to wear out in the evening. Please notice the thickness of the silver in this mounting. These are substantial, without being weighty. I like my stones well protected, and I assume you do too! At SylvaRocks, this is the way we make our jewelry. We don't skimp on metal, and our stones are always hand picked.
