Dennis F12 Pump Escape Fire Engine - branded City of Coventry Fire Service.
Dennis of Guildford built 336 of the F12 Pump Escape between 1950 and 1959. They were the first line appliance of choice for most city & town Fire Brigades in the 1950s and the 1960s. They were powered by a Rolls Royce 8 cylinder, 5.7 Litre petrol engine giving 195 BHP and could reach 60 mph in 40 seconds. They were fitted with a 50 foot Baileys wheeled escape ladder.
