Cornish Porthleven Studio Pottery Flat Sided Pot

Unusual stoneware pot designed to either lie on its side or to be stood flat against a wall. It is unmarked but has the distinctive glaze of the Porthleven Pottery and it was found in Helston, Cornwall. The potters at Porthleven Pottery were Graham and Fenella Fern. In good condition no chips or cracks. Height standing upright 10.5cms, width at top 6cms.
