Original 9 1/4 inch x 7 3/8 inch Black and White Still of THOMAS MEIGHAN & BARBARA MAIER in the 1921 Tom Forman Drama CITY OF SILENT MEN, based on the novel by John A. Moroso.
Jim Montgomery (Thomas Meighan) is the country mechanic who comes to New York to seek his fortune. The country bumpkin is talked into accompanying some prospective employers to a bank, but the men are crooks, and Jim is framed for the murder of a guard and sent to Sing Sing prison.
The still is in very good condition with minor surface marks.
