You'd expect a dish this delicate to have some edge chips or nicks for it's age. But there aren't any! Sure, the gold-leaf trim shows a modicum of wear but it is mostly bright and continuous. Even the hand-painted artwork is vibrant.
Possible uses that come to mind are an ashtray (I don't suggest that!) or perhaps as a after-dinner mint dish. Or, maybe on your dressing table to hold little what-nots.
This dish measures 5" across at most points, shows no crazing, and will be packed carefully to assure safe arrival!
