np22  This is a beautiful early 1900s postcard of a child in a rowing boat at the drop scene at Wanganui River the card franked 1904  and shows the child all on her own rowing the boat through the river her standing high as she passes a gate - shows a little aging and small corner fraying but mostly excellent condition -the postmark on reverse is 1904 and surely not only one of the most character cards you will find of the Drop Scene at Wanganui River but also probably the earliest published too
