Printed colour postcard showing an illustration of an Ancient Greek procession with Bacchus in his chariot at the rear, produced for the Fête des Vignerons at Vevey in Switzerland.
Published by Payot & Cie, Lausanne, No 18, undivided back.
Postally used on 3 September 1905 with Vevey cancellations on red 10c stamp and sent to J.B. Gurnhill, East Stockwith Vicarage, Gainsborough, Angleterre.
Fairly good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but small light crease to bottom left corner and some pale foxing to the edges and back.
