Original 1965 Re-Release Polish 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1934 Sergei & Georgi Vasiliev Historical Drama CHAPAYEV starring Boris Baboczkin, Borys Blinow, Warwara Miasnikowa and Leonid Kmit.
The film is a story about Vasily Ivanovich Chapaev (1887–1919), a Red Army commander who became a hero of the Russian Civil War.
Poster art by Stanislaw Zamecznik (1909 - 1971). Zamecznik was a Polish graphic artist, poster artist, scenographer and architect. He was a professor of the State Higher School of Fine Arts, Poznan (now the Academy of Fine Arts).
The poster is in very good folded condition.
