Seller's Description

Original British 40 inch x 60 inch 2-Sheet Poster for the 1920 Walter West Mystery THE CASE OF LADY CAMBER, based on the play by Horace Annesley Vachell and starring Violet Hopson, Stewart Rome, Gregory Scott, Mercy Hatton, C.M. Hallard and Polly Emery.

Produced by Walturdaw Co. Ltd.. The Walturdaw Company Limited was a pre-First World War British film company established in 1904. The name coming from a conflation of the surnames of the company's founders, J.D. Walker, Edward George Turner, and G.H. Dawson. They ceased making films in 1911 when their north-west London studio was damaged by fire but continued to distribute films till 1924.

Doctor proves nurse did not give strychnine to invalid wife of philandering Lord.

The poster is in very good folded condition with some separation at the crossfolds which has been repaired on the reverse. The lower third would have been the title and credits.
