Seller's Description
The ""Carp Catcher"", finally available on ....after many years of direct sales on an individual basis at various events; sadly Jeff Butler the inventor and only sales person has now decided to retire. He has asked me to sell his remaining stock for him.
I cannot say how long that stock will last. But as he made them by hand, himself, there certainly wont be any more. Hundreds are in use and not one has failed to live up to expectation. Another great hand made English invention.
There just hasn't been one that is so good and so well turned out.
You will I am sure, never fish any other method in all weathers on all waters still or moving! (just two of the benefits of this design and method), ever again. The catch rate is astonishing. A bite alarm isn't necessary, unless you do not want to sit and enjoy watching the float sail away............... Fishing at a distance is no problem with this design method, in fact it fishes better at a distance. A truly sensational invention and very good value. If as a Carp angler or Chub or even Bream and you enjoy catching when others aren't or can't, then this is the piece of kit that you will treasure
For my part, my only advice or recommendation from vast experience here and abroad that I have had with the ""Carp Catcher"", is always use a braided main line, or where that is not permitted a totally zero memory mono main line.
A real bargain with either collect or post as an option. Just add £2.90 to secure second class post to your location in the UK.
A useful bag of spares at an additional £2 is well worth the investment, as they aren't always available elsewhere
Message from Jeff ""Peter, you know why I struggled with referrals? Anglers would buy them and after using them successfully when the inevitable bank-side question came at them from others fishing and not catching.....What are you catching on how and why?, they just wouldn't say! ""
Finally, my sincere good wishes for many ""moving.... tight lines""!
