| Comment | Limited Edition of 80 stamps issued on 1st November, to celebrate the centenary of the Women's Suffrage movement and the Representation of the People Act 1918 (Section 106), which gave the vote to qualifying women in the UK. Features an 1918 woodcut of a women's suffrage march by Mary Lanchaster (courtesy of the British Museum). The title words of the stamp are rendered in the flag colours of the Suffragette movement. Large format stamp 79x54mm for Express and large mail items. |
