Butterick sewing pattern B6242, for Misses' retro 1960s dress. This pattern is new and uses modern sizing, but the design is taken from a Butterick original, circa 1960.
Difficulty Rating: Average.
Pullover dress has continuous, self-bias binding for neckline and sleeve hems, semi-fitted bodice (cut on crosswise grain), bias cummerbund with stay, skirt variations, and side zipper. A: Skirt cut on crosswise grain, and narrow hem. B: Back vent.
Designed for lightweight woven fabrics and stable knits.
FABRICS: Broadcloth, Crepe, Wool Jerseys.
Unsuitable for obvious diagonals.
NOTIONS: 14" Zipper.
This pattern is available in a choice of size
combinations; A5(6,8,10,12,14) or E5(14,16,18,20,22). Please see below for
