Butterick sewing pattern B6938, for Misses' halter dress and jacket. This pattern is a reproduction of an original 1950s pattern, with added size options and cutting payouts.
Difficulty Rating: Average.
Vintage Butterick 1950’s halter dress and jacket. Open back halter dress has buttoned empire midriff with two piece bodice gathers into pleats at neck back and very full skirt. Bolero jacket is dart fitted with 2 button closure at front and all in one sleeve.
Suggested Fabrics: Chambray, Cotton Broadcloth, Crepe, Faille, Linen, Pique, Shantung, Taffeta. Interfacing: Lightweight woven or non-woven sew-in.
This pattern is available in a choice of size combinations; A5(6,8,10,12,14) or F5(16,18,20,22,24). Please see below for sizing chart;
