Masonic Token Advanced Son Of Man Mark Well In Bronze
Raised rim to the front and to the back.
All the details to the front and to the back are in raised relief.
One side has the word ADVANCED to the top inner border;
There is then a central circle with a mason's mallet and chisel
with the words SON OF MAN. MARK WELL surrounding
(This is a Biblical quotation from Ezekiel).
The other side has a central image of a triangle with a keystone within and Hebrew script to each side of the triangle;
there is a lovely inner border of a snake eating its tail, an ancient symbol, popular in Victorian times, of both longevity, love and faith.
The token measures approx 33 mm in diameter.
