Boy Scouts of Canada Badge Patch - Scouts Canada Fleur-De-Lis

I'm not sure where this badge was worn or used. I could not find any mention of this badge on the net. Seeing that it is made of velvet, I think it may be an older badge. The guy I got it from was involved in scouting from 1960 onwards, but he is no longer around to ask about it. It almost looks like a badge that may have been worn on a beret or Scout hat.

The Badge is new and has never been sewn.

It measures 2 X 2-1/4 inches (5cm X 5.5cm).

This badge has a gold Fleur-De-Lis on a velvet, dark green background surrounded by the words " Scouts Canada". The badge has a gold piping border.
